Simple Holiday Recipes
No one ever said the holidays had to be full of difficult and time-consuming recipes. The best celebrations are had over simple holiday recipes that taste great and are easy to prep and make. Cheers!
Some folks have their holiday menu planned out weeks, even months, in advance. Others use the same tried-and-true menu year after year.
And then there’s the rest of us.
I have a recipe or two that I make each year, but otherwise my recipe choices vary depending on what the plans are—am I responsible for the main dish and most of the sides, or am I just complementing the main dish with a few of my own?
Maybe just dessert?
No matter how you slice it, I’m not a fan of holiday recipes that take forever to make.
Things need to be simple and unstressful.
I need to be able to enjoy the guests and not worried about how a recipe’s going to turn out, or spending too much time over the stove in the kitchen (though I’d argue that most people end up gravitating to the kitchen anyway, so it’s not that lonely in there).
Here are some of my tried-and-true holiday recipes—including cocktails and breakfast options! —in case you’re looking for a few to add to your menu.
