I’m compensated by Houzz for the Ideabooks I create.
Late last year I was approached by Houzz.com to create a monthly Ideabook centered around kitchen-related items, being that I’m, well, a foodie.
I’ll admit, at first I was all, “What’s Houzz? And do I really need to add one more thing to my plate?”
Thank goodness my answer was, “Yes,” because now three months later, creating my monthly Ideabook is something I look forward to … and often complete way in advance of the deadline.
So what is Houzz.com?
Well, if you’re totally obsessed with Pinterest.com like me, then you’re already light-years ahead of your non-Houzz-knowing peers.
Instead of pinboards, Houzz.com allows its users to create Ideabooks with the idea of forming the books around special design projects for the home.
And, at Houzz.com you’ll also find professional designers mixed in too, with their own “professional designer” Ideabooks to ogle over, or to use as fodder for your own Ideabook creations.
It’s pretty awesome. You need to go create a profile and join me over there.
