What’s New at the SSFS Community Farm Blog

Have you been keeping up with the Sandy Spring Friends School Community Farm blog?
Two new posts have been added since I first shared the SSFS Community Farm blog, and Josie and Shawn are moving full steam ahead with the farm project.
From a MLK Service Day volunteer opportunity, to understanding “cover crops,” you can use their blog to keep up with the work it takes to get a small farm up and running. I find it completely fascinating and appreciate the fact that I can live vicariously through the two of them, especially since I wouldn’t have the time, energy, wherewithal, or know-how to do any of it!
Take a peek at what’s new this past week with Frosty Fields and Cover Crops:

Hi, I'm Liza, a self-proclaimed word-nerd who loves getting sucked into whimsical stories and epic movies. I have laid-back, practical attitude towards life, and as a foodie at heart, I relish the chance to both cook and eat. (No picky-eater here!) Always on the hunt for good eats, easy recipes, binge-worthy shows, relaxing road trip destinations, the perfect mojito and time to finish my novel!
