Wordless Wednesday: It’s Strawberry Season!

Happy June foodie friends!
In honor of the almighty strawberry, which is in season and absolutely sweet and delightful right now in Maryland, I’ve updated the blog header and chosen to showcase a few of my favorite photos from Truffula Seed Produce’s strawberry bounty!

There’s nothin’ better than berries picked fresh off the plant, so check out your local farms and go strawberry picking OR stop by your local farmers’ market for a freshly picked pint. They won’t last long!

I keep saying I’m taking my daughter to pick strawberries…I mean, the farm is literally 1/4 a mile from Our house…but it is so hot…and I am so pregnant.

Maybe I’ll take her to buy some instead.

we have a few green little fellows in our strawberry bed out front …. I hope I get to eat them before any little birds get them! Last year we picked a precious dozen and savored them with our breakfast one morning. My daughter still talks about it. yummmmm….

Hi there, I’m visiting from SITS and I have a confession to make. I got so caught-up in your blog that I read quite a few entries before I realized, I should be commenting to let you know how great your stuff is.

So hear goes, I love your blog, even though I am a veggie and will have to adapt quite a few recipes.

Hop over and visit me when you have a moment. I am a fairly new blogger and am still finding my feet at http://www.seekingsynergy.wordpress.com.
