Food Challenge: Cupcakes (cont.)

Last updated on October 18, 2010 by Liza Hawkins

Okay, everyone! The cupcake flavor poll is up today at the top of my blog, and I’m psyched to see which cupcakes you pick for Jack’s 2nd birthday party. The ideas were all suggested by readers this time, and I think that’s really cool – the interaction is a lot of fun, so thank you to those that helped!
Voting is simple – all you need to do is check a box (or multiple) for the cupcake you’d like to see me bake and blog about, and on the 31st it will happen! The poll will be up through next Sunday, after which I’ll announce the winning flavor. Then it’s up to me to figure out a recipe…but that’s part of the fun!

PS: My blogger friend Jackie at WritRams thinks I should pick a reader to win a sample of the Food Challenge item. I love that idea…wondering if that’s possible. Hmmmm….

  1. Mini-cupcakes would be cool! I was thinking more of a mini “cake” – as in a regular cupcake covered in fondant to look like a minature professional cake. For a 2 year old though, mini-cupcakes are an awesome idea!

  2. I actually voted for 2 – you could have the Sponge Bob cupcakes for the kids and the pumpkin ones for the adults! 🙂 For the first time I had cupcakes at Garrett’s birthday party. Albeit, I bought them and didn’t make the, but they were still a hit!

  3. Missy – who DOESN’T like cupcakes, right? He’d totally dig the Spongebob ones…

Jackie – LOL! oKAY already. You know…fondant cupcakes probably travel well too.
