Out and About: Rams Head Tavern

Last updated on September 2, 2010 by Liza Hawkins

Yesterday I finished a series of business meetings in Annapolis, MD, and before heading back to Frederick a group of my work friends and I went to Rams Head Tavern for an impromptu late lunch. I’ve been to Rams Head before to see shows (the night club side), but only once on the restaurant side, and never for lunch.
For about $20 a piece, which included a meal, a drink, a soup and an appetizer, we ate our hearts out. It was delicious, and our waitress was wonderful too. Attentive, but not annoying, she managed to guess our names correctly when handing our credit cards back after paying! Sadly, I forget her name…Debbie, Deborah, something like that. Anyway, if you’re reading – you were awesome!
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Cream of Crab Soup
Fish Tacos
Crabcake Sandwich
Softshell Crab Sandwich
Steak and Cheese

If you’re in the mood for a great live show, and want to eat some really good food beforehand, I’d definitely recommend Rams Head in Annapolis. A delicious restaurant in a beautiful bayside town.
