Speaking of nostalgia, but totally unrelated to food, I’ve been re-watching LOST over the past couple months while some of my favorite TV shows have been on hiatus.

To say I loved it the first time around may be underestimating my adoration.

So for me to say that this time around I love it just as much? It’s true.

If you’ve never watched LOST, then you’re in for a treat — but you must start from the very, very beginning: season one, episode one.

It’s worth it, and I dare you to stop from watching the next ten episodes without a break.

Side note: I may have done the same obsessive maneuver with Downton Abbey when I first discovered season one last year, and pretty much every other binge-worthy show I’ve stumbled upon.

But, back to nostalgia and food.

Baked BBQ pork chops … nom!

Delicious baked BBQ pork chops topped with onions and fresh herbs for a comforting meal.

  1. I made these pork chops last night, and they were a hit! They were super easy and quick, and my 6-year-old and my husband loved them!

Yay! That’s great! The only time my 5-year old doesn’t like them is when I use a BBQ sauce that’s too spicy. 🙂

  3. This looks so tasty! These make me want to run out and get some chops to make this. Actually I probably will this weekend when we go grocery shopping.
On a side note, I’ve never watched either of those shows, but when I find a show I like I will sit down and watch every previous episode.

  4. My hubby barely tolerates pork chops but he loved these! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂

  6. they look good

  7. Thanks! 😀

  8. Can i use bone-in pork chops? Would the cooking time change?

  9. Hi! I’m wondering if I can use bone-in pork chops instead?

  10. Hi R.J.! YES. Bone-in would work, too. You may need to increase the cooking time a little though, depending on how thick they are.

  11. Do you cover these while they’re baking?

  12. Hi Eileen! I do not cover them, but it wouldn’t hurt to do that.

  13. Horrible tough pork chops!!

  14. Mandy – Try cooking them for a shorter time, or in a dish that ensures they’re covered with the sauce. Thin pork chops can over cook with the blink of an eye, and oven temps vary!

  15. Came out great.. used sweet baby rays and followed exact recipe

  16. Awesome! Love Sweet Baby Rays. Mmm…

  17. Looked for a meal that was different…These chops were AMAZING! Sorry I only made a half a batch. Wife loved them! Great Gluten free food. Will make again!

    Thank You!

  18. Terrific news! Glad you came back to report, William. Cheers!

Whole family loved them (little ones included)!! I used bone-in chops, uncovered, but covered with sauce & they were great! I buy organic sauce anyway, but I think it’s definitely needed for this recipe, so they’re not too sweet from artificial sweeteners. Thanks for the recipe!

  20. Oh yum! I bet bone-in was delicious — has way more flavor.
