Get inspired to make more quick, easy, and health family recipes! The recipes below are simple to make, in many cases with ingredients you already have in your fridge and pantry.

In 2014, I joined an live broadcast with other food-focused online creators to chat about realistic food choices and recipes for busy families. Back then, blogging was a different beast, and bloggers (now “creators”) banded together as a community in a grassroots way you don’t see much anymore.

With this chat, we aimed to collaborate and share our methods for getting quick and healthy homemade meals pulled together — a feat that often seems insurmountable, even for the most organized home cook.

This hour-long livestream was informative, light-hearted and, most of all, fun! (It also looks a little vintage at this point, seeing as 2014 seems like eons ago in the online world.)

The video has since been taken down, but the family recipes I shared back then still remain.

  1. Those recipes look delicious. I’ll have to check them out. I keep missing the hangouts because of work, but they are always a blast. As for the yellow, maybe you just have a yellow aura. That is the color of awakening, inspiration, intelligence and action shared, creative, playful, optimistic, easy-going. (according to a google search)
