FREDERICK, MD is a city ripe with history that dates back to the early 1700s. Its historic downtown area has gone through a 10 year revitalization that is now home to great restaurants, quaint cafes and boutique shops. Frederick is also home to Bryan Voltaggio, chef/owner of VOLT, Family Meal and LunchBox – all located in town.
Thanks for linking to my apricot tart recipe! I wonder why they put National Apricot Day in January? There are ZERO apricots in season in the U.S. in January!

As for Nat’l Apricot Day in January? Yeah, there’s usually one every week that has me scratching my head. LOL! They definitely don’t follow what’s in season here in the States, that’s for sure.
