I have one thing on my mind today: Range.
Yes, today I get a chance to visit Bryan Voltaggio’s (fellow Frederick, Md., resident and runner up on Top Chef) latest restaurant, just a stone’s throw from Washington, DC. Range is the Voltaggio restaurant my husband longs to visit, the one where steak is the front and center star.
He, unfortunately, doesn’t get to go this time. Instead, hubs gets to do daycare pickup and ballet drop-off, which really isn’t any different than an average Monday in our house, except that he’ll have our 4 year old in tow during the evening’s activities.
Meanwhile, I get to sample some of Voltaggio’s newest, finest fare. Sorry honey.
