It’s 7:30 AM on Thanksgiving morning. My turkey has been submerged in brine since late last night, and in about 4 hours it’ll be roasting. Pies have been made, and it’s time to get started on all the menu sides.
We’ll have a small Thanksgiving dinner gathering today in my house, it’s just our family of four, plus my in-laws. This means three things:
1. A relaxed pace throughout the day.
2. We can all fit around the dining room table – even the kids!
3. LOTS OF LEFTOVERS.
As for the menu? I’m keeping it pretty classic, and there’s something comforting about that!
