See you in two weeks! Cheers!
I consider myself an "Everyday Foodie" and focus on down-to-earth scratch cooking for my busy family of four in Frederick, Md. Writer by night, marketing analyst by day, somehow I manage to create what some might call work-life balance. (Others call it chaos.) You can find me writing here about all things food, as well as other spots in print and across the web. Read More…

FREDERICK, MD is a city ripe with history that dates back to the early 1700s. Its historic downtown area has gone through a 10 year revitalization that is now home to great restaurants, quaint cafes and boutique shops. Frederick is also home to Bryan Voltaggio, chef/owner of VOLT, Family Meal and LunchBox – all located in town.
It reminds me vaguely of the lancaster gate hotel london that overlooks the lancaster lake. That place in the image is beautiful. It’s enchanting beauty attracts me.
Did you literally went on a vacation or just from blogging? Anyhow, a vacation is always a nice idea. Everybody needs a time out once in a while from their busy lives to spend some ME time. I did that when I went to London last summer and stayed in one of those 3 star london hotels.
Is that the place you went to? If it is, I’m kind of envious. It seems like a nice place to go on a vacation where you can find peace and serenity. That cottage that overlooks the lake looks amazing.
If that is the vacation place you’re going to, everyone would understand if you’ll take quite a long time. The place is real inviting. Great place for relaxation and reflection.
Nothing more relaxing than staying in a cabin with a great mountain view and a lake nearby. Yeah, I’d definitely find solitude too if I were to stay in that place.
