Venezuelan Salsa: Try a taste-tempting tropical sensation!

This very simple Venezuelan Salsa is a tropical treat for your taste buds. Venezuelan salsa is an appetizer that can be perfectly paired with almost all dishes. A simple nutritional appetizer doesn’t take more than 15 minutes to make at home. What really appeals about this salsa is the fresh colorful appetizing look of the recipe. Serve nutrition packed food to your family or enhance the taste of your dinner as you serve this salsa to your guest. The recipe is very low in calories; however very rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fiber and sodium. You can also call it a perfect dietary recipe.

Take a look at the recipe given below which is absolutely perfect to make 10 servings if you serve ¼ cup to each. This recipe is a guaranteed appreciation for you from your family or your guest.

Ingredients:
1. Peeled, pitted and diced mango only one

2. About ½ peeled pitted and diced

3. Peeled, seeded and diced, ½ medium sized papaya

4. One finely chopped carrot

5. One finely chopped onion, you can consider red onion to add to the color

6. 1 stalk of celery, very finely chopped

7. Juice of one full lemon

8. 3 Minced cloves of garlic

9. Cilantro, freshly chopped say about 2tablespoon

10. 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper, any jalapeno peppers you like be it green or red

11. Ground cumin seeds about 1 ½ teaspoon

12. Salt as per taste

Procedure:

1. Mix all the ingredients

Take a big bowl and add all the ingredients to it. Mix these ingredients well.

2. Refrigerate the mixed ingredients

Put the bowl containing these ingredients into the refrigerator. Refrigerate the salsa for a few hours. By refrigerating the salsa, it will absorb all the ingredients well. Refrigeration also enhances the taste of the salsa

3. Serve with

You can serve this versatile appetizer with apple wedges or carrot sticks or celery sticks. The salsa has the capacity of enhancing the taste of your grilled chicken and fish. You can also serve this salsa as an appetizer with Tostones and fruit salad.

Or you can simply place this salsa with tortilla chips. The sweet and sour taste of this salsa is just perfect as it matches almost all your other recipes.

Tips:

1. Red onions instead of white ones make your salsa look really appetizing and fresh. In fact it also adds red color to your salsa.

2. If you use Red jalapeno instead of green jalapenos you can add color to your salsa, it makes your salsa look more colorful.

3. You can also add hot sauce to enhance the taste of your salsa.

Things to watch out for:

Make sure you put on gloves while you cut jalapenos. Jalapenos have the capacity of stinging and irritating your skin. Of course you need to keep your hands away from your eyes and your nose in order to avoid irritation.
