FREDERICK, MD is a city ripe with history that dates back to the early 1700s. Its historic downtown area has gone through a 10 year revitalization that is now home to great restaurants, quaint cafes and boutique shops. Frederick is also home to Bryan Voltaggio, chef/owner of VOLT, Family Meal and LunchBox – all located in town.
Uh, a picture is worth a thousnad words!
eh?
and then I read the title LOL!
LOL!! Right on target.
Oh my gosh! You’ve helped me relive the beautiful lunch I had there on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. I love this place! I had the beets, the pork tenderloin, and the decadent chocolate dessert. The service was wonderful, even though we were ordering the $25 3 course lunch. My family was very happy there.
I wish I could afford to go more often – it’s SO good. My favorite during this visit was definitely the scallops. Cooked to perfection…the sauces, spices to mix with each bite. YUM!
