Minus one recipe submitted by @DArtagnan_Inc that seemed intimidating to me for three reasons:
- It was a recipe for grits that I would’ve had to convert to polenta. Not necessarily an impossible task, but when you’ve never made polenta NOR grits…. Yeah. Intimidating. Maybe in a month.
Maybe an April Food Challenge? - The above recipe called for ‘black truffle butter’ and ‘duck demi-glace,’ both of which I doubt I can find at
Bloommy neighborhood market. Also thinking I may have to budget for this one. - My sister will be joining me for Polenta Night on Saturday the 26th, and she’s a vegetarian. Not sure she’d appreciate the duck demi-glace and Heritage Ham, even if she would have loved it in a past omnivore life.

Stopping by from PBD. Your blog is gorgeous. I feel like a foodie just looking at it. May even look into polenta, though my kids are from the south and will probably call it mush.
