I think you would all agree that that sushi is a highly addictive food, to the point of causing major cravings. It’s not uncommon for my husband to say at random, “What do you feel like for dinner?”
My reply, “Oh, I don’t know. Do you have anything in mind?”
Husband, “No, not really. Well…maybe. Yeah, I kinda need feel like sushi.” And that’s it. Sushi it is.
Yesterday for lunch, a colleague said, “I’m really excited…we’re ordering sushi…are you in?” And that was it. Sushi it was.
We ordered from a restaurant in Columbia called Sushi King, which is local favorite, and very busy at lunchtime. Having said that, we picked up the order just after Noon and it was ready when we got there with virtually no wait!

where do you guys go around frederick?
In general? If you click on the “Restaurants” or “Frederick” link on the right under Food Labels, you’ll see all the posts – which include most of my favorites.
But, if sushi is what you’re asking about, our favorites are China Garden (delivery!) or Roppongi (off Rt 40).

china garden or miyako. i’ve also gone to lunch at matsuake (sp?) by the movie theater, where they do a really good sushi buffet lunch. it’s definitely worth checking out at lunch time mon-fri.
have you been to the new place olives yet? heard great things!
Todd’s gotten sushi at Miyako and Matsutake – both delicious. He’s a bigger sushi eater than I am. Sushi buffet, huh? Too bad I’m never in Frederick at lunch M-F!
I’ve heard great things about Olives too & would love to try it out!
