FREDERICK, MD is a city ripe with history that dates back to the early 1700s. Its historic downtown area has gone through a 10 year revitalization that is now home to great restaurants, quaint cafes and boutique shops. Frederick is also home to Bryan Voltaggio, chef/owner of VOLT, Family Meal and LunchBox – all located in town.
This was a favorite of mine growing up, too. It seems perfectly wonderful to me! Graham crackers with butter was another favorite.
Oooh – graham crackers with butter. I’ll have to try that!
Liza, I love this! I was quite intrigued when I saw your Facebook update (as I saw others were too!).
Speaking of graham crackers..yesterday we had apricot Stilton cheese with water crackers. I got out some graham crackers and tried the stilton on that and it tasted like the most decadent, rich cheesecake.
Love you, love your blog.
LOL – thanks Jessica! After the initial buttery saltines post on FB, and subsequent comments (especially yours), I thought a blog post about them would interesting!
BTW – I LOVE water crackers! With warmed baked Brie and brown sugar…. Sounds like another blog entry!
Um, okay… I am sure this is really really good, but I would never eat it for fear I would want it all the time!
